Great Ocean Road Health serves the communities of Lorne, Apollo Bay, and the Surf Coast, providing high-quality, accessible healthcare close to home. Formed in 2019 through the integration of Lorne Community Hospital and Otway Health, we offer a range of services across our Lorne and Apollo Bay campuses. Our goal is to meet the growing healthcare needs of the community, ensuring sustainable, robust care for the future while maintaining local services and staff levels.
About the Role
The program will provide a supportive environment to consolidate knowledge and develop your nursing skills. There will be an opportunity to work in our Aged Care area, Acute and Urgent Care Services and to assist with Covid 19 response, including vaccination and testing. There is an extensive education program at both sites which you will be actively encouraged to participate in.
* Current National Registration as an Undergraduate Student of Nursing with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency.
* Minimum completion of 1st Year Bachelor of Nursing (3rd Year for Covid 19 Response Roles)
The successful candidate will have a flexible approach and be committed to providing Person Centred approach in our Montessori model of care.
