We are seeking a Diploma Qualified Educator/2IC to lead, inspire, support and manage our team of Educators, and assist with the day-to-day operations of the Childcare Centre.
Our Centre has space for 75 children, and features classrooms and ancillary facilities, along with a master chef kitchen and an inclusive outdoor environment that will stimulate all the senses.
We are looking for a qualified and experienced Educator / 2IC, who is ready to take the next step in their career and is looking to work in our privately owned and operated Centre.
In this position you will use your previous experience as a Lead Educator and you will help to manage and support the team, along with assisting the Director with the overall operations of the Centre. For us, it's about finding a like-minded individual who is passionate about early childhood education and the developmental needs of children.
About the Role
* Assisting the Centre Director in managing day to day operations in accordance with legislative requirements and company policies.
* Providing leadership, mentorship and guidance to the staff.
* Inspire, motivate, guide and support Educators to progress the Services's excellence in practice.
* Support Educators to assess each child's learning and development in relation to the approved learning framework and other contemporary theories.
* Assist and develop clear goals for Educators regarding the efficiency of the educational program.
* Ensure the Centre complies with best practices, including curriculum development, staff professional development, administrative procedures and cooperating with families and the community.
About You
* Experience: previous experience as a 2IC or Assistant Director in an early childhood setting.
* Qualifications: Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care OR equivalent approved by ACECQA.
* Compliance: Current Working with Children Check (WWC) and First Aid certification.
* Knowledge: Sound understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standards (NQS).
* Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Passion for Education: Genuine love for children and a commitment to making a positive impact.
* Documentation & Planning: Strong skills in documenting and planning for individual learning needs and general administration.
