Our lending team (Vincents Lending Solutions (VLS) specialise in simplifying finance and providing expert guidance. With comprehensive expertise working with individuals, small and medium-sized businesses, and large corporations, we possess a deep understanding of finance.
We are seeking an experienced Credit Analyst to join the VLS team. This role is suited to someone who understands end-to-end loan processing and credit assessment and enjoys working across multiple stakeholders to progress deals from submission through to settlement.
Description
What you'll do
* Analyse financial statements, tax returns, ATO data, and forecasts
* Review bank statements and credit reports, and complete serviceability and funding calculators
* Support Directors and Brokers to structure deals and workshop commercial lending scenarios across multiple lenders
* Assist in preparing high-quality credit submissions covering structure, financial performance, and security
* Support the end-to-end management of loan applications by liaising with brokers, lenders, clients, accountants, solicitors, and valuers
* Ensure all applications meet regulatory requirements and internal quality standards
* Communicate clearly and confidently with all stakeholders throughout the process
What you'll bring
* Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills
* Clear, confident written and verbal communication — able to explain risk and structure without unnecessary jargon
* A proactive, ownership mindset with accountability for outcomes
* Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to work collaboratively with brokers, lenders, and advisers
* Solid understanding of credit policy, compliance, and loan structuring
* Proficiency in Excel and the Microsoft Office suite
Preferred (but not essential)
* Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Commerce, Business, or a related discipline
* 2+ years' experience in residential or commercial lending, credit analysis, or a similar banking role
* Diploma of Mortgage Broking, or willingness to complete
