It requires a sales professional, or aspiring sales professional who is looking to be challenged. Good at hunting but also enjoys farming… with strong sales skills and sound knowledge in electrical or lighting background preferred. This is a role with a difference for a productive worker who takes pride in their job and likes to be challenged in:
* Hunting and cold calling for new clients and projects
* Farming and maintaining existing clients
* Working under pressure while negotiating through excellent communication skills
* Exceeding personal and company targets
* Genuine desire to deliver on Site Light Rentals Vision, Mission and Purpose
* Travel interstate and central/ north QLD for up to 1 week at a time
* Assisting with R&D, design and trouble shooting
There will be challenging instances of tight stock availability, tight deadlines and elements of hands-on work supporting the field service team and/ or clients where necessary.
The role is ideally suited for a candidate who is a high performer currently in sales, or a strong desire to move into sales. Skills that can be further developed with on-the-job training in the area of lighting and performance, extra low voltage (ELV) electrical and lighting systems, low impact energy diesel DC gensets, basic engineering including aspects of solar-powered stand-alone lighting (ELV) systems.
You must have a strong desire to learn, the right attitude, adequate tool skills, and a strong team spirit.
