You’re looking to embed yourself in projects of different sizes and become part of a team that’s shaping the landscape across NSW.
In this role, you'll:
1. Work as part of the Northern Bridges team developing and delivering bridge maintenance projects across Northeastern NSW.
2. Establish a pipeline of work for direct control bridge crews and manage contractor works.
3. Provide engineering support throughout all project lifecycle stages, from development to delivery and handover.
4. Manage cost estimates, oversee service providers, suppliers, and consultants, and monitor work programs.
5. Travel across the region to inspect current works, maintaining high standards of WH&S, environmental management, and quality.
The positions are based in Ballina, requiring candidates to live in the region, with relocation support provided.

About you
1. Effective problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills, including with contractors.
2. Ability to multitask, prioritize, manage risks, and deliver projects.
3. A passion for bridge maintenance and construction is preferred.
4. Experience with Environmental Assessments.
5. Comfortable collaborating, seeking advice, and discussing projects with the workforce.
6. Experience in preparing estimates, job programs, delivery briefs, and management plans.
7. A four-year civil engineering degree, valid Australian driver license, and willingness to travel and work outside normal hours.
