The Category Manager, Information, Communication and Technology (ICT) provides expertise, advice, and assistance related to the procurement and management of ICT requirements. This includes developing and owning the ICT category management strategy, vendor management strategy, and associated policies and processes.You will also provide leadership and advice to the Procurement branch on various functions in support of the Chief Procurement Officer (CPO).Specialist/Technical Expertise/QualificationsA bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline such as Business, Finance, Procurement, or Information Technology is desirable.Demonstrated knowledge and experience of procurement practices and procedures, category management, including the ability to understand and apply Victorian Government Purchasing Board guidelines, with a minimum of two years relevant experience.This is an ongoing position.
