We are currently seeking an experienced Full-Time Chef to join our growing team
Roles and Responsibilities
· Design new menus with the restaurant manager, manage all kitchen operations including food preparation, cooking and clean up
· Manage, motivate, lead and develop the Kitchen team
· Delegate the tasks to the kitchen staff and inform the wait staff on Todays specials and Chefs specials.
· Maintain a high standard of food hygiene, safety and cleanliness in accordance with company standards
· Inspect raw and cooked food items to guarantee the highest quality products are prepared and served to customers
· Manage food costs and supplier management to budget
· Manage staff costs to budget
· Manage and maintain ordering of stock and produce
· Implementation of health and safety procedures in the kitchen
· Collaborate with management to align kitchen operations with the overarching goals of the company
Job Requirements and necessary experience
· Qualified Chef or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years' experience within a fast paced environment
· Australian qualification of Certificates III and IV in Commercial Cookery or positive Trade Skill Assessment as a Chef
· Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact positively with restaurant staff and management
· Detailed knowledge of health and safety standards
· Excellent communication skills

We are offering attractive Annual Salary from $78000 to $80000+ Super on going performance-based Incentives and bonus
