**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of testing activities for the Oracle payroll uplift project, ensuring alignment with project timelines and objectives.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases to validate the functionality and reliability of the uplifted payroll systems.
- Collaborate closely with upstream and downstream stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure alignment throughout the testing process.
- Proactively identify and address risks, issues, and dependencies related to testing activities, working closely with project managers and other stakeholders to mitigate potential impacts.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the testing team, including test analysts and other team members, to ensure adherence to testing standards and best practices.
- Utilize your strong analytical skills to create test assets from existing systems, leveraging existing data and processes to facilitate efficient and effective testing.
- Coordinate with external vendors and partners as needed to support testing activities and ensure successful integration with external systems.
- Monitor and track testing progress, providing regular updates and reports to project stakeholders on testing status, issues, and outcomes.
- Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and quality assurance practices.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to payroll management and testing, incorporating relevant insights into testing strategies and approaches.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in test management, with a focus on complex projects such as system upgrades or migrations within the airline industry.
- Strong understanding of Oracle payroll systems and their integration with existing systems, preferably within the context of airline operations.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Proactive, outgoing, and diplomatic approach to stakeholder management, with a demonstrated ability to navigate complex organizational structures and relationships.
- Strong ability to create test assets from existing systems, leveraging existing data and processes to facilitate comprehensive testing coverage.
- Familiarity with testing tools and methodologies, including test case management systems and defect tracking tools.
- Experience working in Agile or other iterative development environments is preferred.
