We are seeking an experienced Legal and Governance Assistant to provide high-quality administrative, legal and governance support across the Pacific Link Housing Group. This role plays a key part in supporting robust governance, effective legal processes and compliance, while working closely with senior leaders, Board members and external stakeholders. This is a varied and rewarding role suited to someone who is highly organised, detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment. This is a permanent-full time opportunity, however we are open to part-time arrangements for the right candidate.

What You'll Be Doing

Though no two days will be the same, here's a little of what you can expect:

* Provide legal administrative support including preparation, coordination and lifecycle management of contracts, policies and legal documents
* Support legal matters, including correspondence, basic legal research and liaison with external legal providers
* Support coordination of Board and Committee meetings, including calendars, logistics, agendas, papers, portals and minute-taking support
* Maintain governance and statutory records, including registers, declarations and governance documentation
* Support compliance activities, audits, annual returns and Director induction and training
* Provide high-quality administrative support including managing company memberships, document management, electronic filing, reporting, presentations and assistance with projects as required

What You'll Bring to the Team

You are a proactive and professional administrator with strong legal or governance experience and a commitment to confidentiality and ethical conduct.

To thrive in this role, you'll need:

* Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar legal, governance or corporate administration role
* Qualifications in Legal Studies, Business, Governance or a related field (or equivalent experience)
* Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to manage competing priorities and work autonomously
* High-level proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems
* A positive, flexible and team-oriented approach
