Restaurant & Cafe Manager
The Restaurant & Cafe Manager will oversee the food & beverage experience for our tour and group bookings, manage operations across Altitude Restaurant, Lounge Bar and Visitor Centre Cafe, and ensure excellence at every touchpoint.
Responsibilities
* Take ownership of the food & beverage experience for tour and group bookings from enquiry to delivery.
* Oversee operations of Altitude Restaurant, Lounge Bar and Visitor Centre Cafe, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
* Manage front‐of‐house rostering, recruitment, and team development for high‐performing teams.
* Maintain profitability, stock levels, order processing and financial accuracy across venues.
* Collaborate with the Head Chef and Heads of Department to deliver a cohesive guest experience.
What You'll Bring
* Proven experience in a food & beverage leadership role (2+ years), multi‐venue experience highly regarded.
* Strong focus on guest experience and ability to build rapport and deliver memorable service.
* Hands‐on leadership style, experienced in building, coaching and developing high‐performing teams.
* Commercial awareness and experience managing stock, costs and driving profitability.
* Ability to thrive in a fast‐paced, multi‐site environment and juggle competing priorities.
* Understanding of current food, beverage and service trends, with a passion for continuous improvement.
* Sound knowledge of wine, including food pairings.
* Experience working in a remote location (desirable, not essential).
* Valid RSA and DoFoodSafely Certificate.
* Own reliable transport (essential).
