This leadership role offers an opportunity to shape and enhance service delivery through best practice commissioning, procurement, and contract management.You will provide high-level advice to the General Manager and Program Leads, support continuous improvement across procurement and contract management practices.Key Responsibilities1. Commissioning and ProcurementLead the development and implementation of a robust, evidence-based Commissioning Framework.Oversee procurement processes to ensure equity, transparency, and probity.Build organisational capacity in commissioning practices through training and support.Collaborate with program and project leads to embed commissioning principles and streamline processes.2. Contract and Project ManagementOversee the lifecycle of contracts—establishment, compliance, governance, and performance review.Implement risk management strategies within commissioning and procurement activities.Drive the delivery of value-for-money outcomes through performance-based supplier engagement.Ensure effective resolution of contract disputes and escalation procedures.3. Leadership and People ManagementDevelop and support direct reports through coaching, performance feedback, and professional development.Promote a high-performing culture grounded in Youturn’s values.Foster innovation and support change initiatives to improve systems and service delivery.4. Stakeholder Engagement and CommunicationBuild and sustain strong relationships with subcontractors, funding bodies, community partners, and government agencies.Lead co-design and planning initiatives to ensure services respond to local needs.Promote open, clear communication across internal teams and with external stakeholders.5. Strategic Thinking and InnovationInform strategic priorities and national roadmaps through data, research, and stakeholder input.Identify opportunities for business improvement and enhanced service delivery models.6.
