About the role
As the Small Engine Mechanic, you report to the Branch Manager and are responsible for providing customers with an exceptional level of service through pickups/deliveries and maintenance/repair of small motor powered equipment to exacting standards.
This role requires you to:
* Repair and maintain equipment (primarily small petrol/gasoline and diesel engine equipment) to required standards so as to ensure our customers receive reliable and fit-for-purpose plant and equipment.
* Perform servicing maintenance on the customer site as required, and documentation to render equipment serviceable in accordance with Kennards "Ready for Hire"
* Quality Operational Management (QOM) standards
* Perform pickup/delivery and loading/unloading of equipment
* Perform branch facilities cleaning and maintenance as required
Salary
A salary of between $70,000 and $75,000 is on offer. We also pay weekend allowances and overtime in line with our Enterprise Agreement.
About you
* Trade qualified as a small engine or motor cycle mechanic
* At least 3 years' experience in the field
* A proven ability to be adaptable to changing priorities and work conditions including the ability to both work as part of a team and to work autonomously to complete tasks within required timeframes
* Time management skills including the ability to plan ahead and reschedule in accordance with changes in priorities
* A manual Driver's License
