Senior Occupational Therapist Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team supporting NDIS participants in the North Perth region. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering person-centred occupational therapy services that enhance the quality of life for our participants.
Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist to make a meaningful impact in their local community. You will work collaboratively with our team to assess participants' developmental, cognitive, emotional, psychological and physical function and capacity. Using evidence-based practice, you will develop and implement tailored treatment plans to help participants achieve their goals.
* Manage an allocated caseload and deliver timely therapeutic services.
* Assess participants' functional abilities through clinical observations and standardised assessments.
* Interpret findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant.
* Provide evidence-based interventions to enhance participants' quality of life and meet their goals.
* Mentor and nurture early career clinicians.
* Maintain awareness of current legislation to ensure compliance.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist.
* Experience in delivering person-centred occupational therapy services.
* Experience in mentoring and supervising other Occupational Therapists.
* A genuine passion for working in the disability sector.
* Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
