The Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated Coordinator to lead our Customer Service and Records Team. This role is responsible for the effective leadership and supervision of the Customer Service and Records Management team to ensure the provision of efficient and effective customer service and records management functions.
Your responsibilities will include
- Leading the Customer Service and Records Management team ensuring their performance is professional and that their work is accurate and in accordance with accepted practices.
- Developing and promoting both a strong customer and high-quality service orientation within the team and across the organisation.
- Ensuring a high level of technical knowledge within the customer services and records management team, identifying and scheduling training requirements where skills do not match position requirements.
- Leading the development, implementation, monitoring and review of strategies, policies and procedures for the area, including key performance indicators that will meet the current and future needs of the Shire.
- Contributing to the development of the annual budget for the team and regularly monitoring performance against the targets.
- Overseeing the mapping of the customer experience.
- Overseeing the digitisation of SWEK’s records.
Excellent customer service, high levels of written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated ability to work under limited direction achieving high quality results by taking a shared responsibility for setting priorities, organising workloads and proven experience in the use of Microsoft Office products are essential for this role. Also required is a tertiary level qualification in business, records management and/or related fields (minimum Diploma), relevant industry experience as well as a current unrestricted WA “C” Class Driver’s Licence.

We are offering a remuneration package inclusive of allowances and superannuation of up to $110,000 (dependent on skills and experience) per annum for this role.
