About the Role
As our Projects and Programs Officer, you will:
* Maintain reporting to effectively oversee programs and projects to meet objectives.
* Prepare grant and procurement documentation
* Conduct research and analysis to support project development.
* Implement initiatives to improve efficiency.
* Provide advice and support to project teams.
* Prepare documentation for stakeholders, including reports and briefing notes.
* Contribute to program management methodologies and processes.
About You
Our ideal candidate will have:
* Proven ability to administer large scale infrastructure projects, including purchase orders, budgets, project scheduling, risk registers and briefing notes.
* Understanding of implementing initiatives that improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
* Experience in providing timely, accurate advice and support to project teams.
* Proven ability preparing documentation associated with grant and procurement activities including eTender and SmartyGrants.
* Capability to contribute to improving project and program management methodologies and processes.
* Competence in drafting and delivering various documents for stakeholders, such as reports and correspondence.
* Experience contributing to the development of project management methodologies and processes.
* An understanding of evolving digital connectivity technologies
* Prior experience or knowledge of the workings and requirements of a government department
