Quarry Supervisor
Location: Bli Bli Quarry, Sunshine Coast QLD
Salary: AUD 80,000 - 100,000 per annum

The Holcim Aggregates team is looking for a hands‐on, mechanically minded person for this role which involves maintenance of fixed and mobile plant assets.
You will supervise a multidisciplinary team with the aim of providing an efficient and effective production process in a safety‐focused environment. The position will require working closely with the site manager to develop strategies and deliver operational goals for the site.
Responsibilities
* Supervise a multidisciplinary team to ensure efficient production and safety compliance.
* Work closely with the site manager to develop strategies and achieve operational goals.
* Maintain fixed and mobile plant assets.
Qualifications
* Ability to operate and maintain heavy mobile and fixed plant equipment.
* Strong safety leadership culture and working knowledge of Safety Management Systems and relevant legislation.
* Experience in a quarry supervisory/leadership role with solid customer service and people skills.
* Practical crushing and screening experience is essential.
* Understanding of drill & blast and quarry development desirable.
* Experience in budgeting and working to cost targets.
* Ability to work well with sales and technical teams to deliver key business objectives.
* Understanding of Chain of Responsibility requirements.
* Certificate IV and/or Diploma in Extractive Industries or relevant tertiary qualifications (Mining, Mechanical, Geology, Construction, or similar) desirable.
* SAP knowledge is nice to have for purchase orders and cost tracking (training will be provided).
