There are apprenticeships, and then there are Mercedes-Benz apprenticeships with Autosports Group (ASG). Backed by Queensland’s most awarded Mercedes-Benz Dealer Group and the strength of ASG’s national network, you’ll receive Mercedes-Benz factory training, genuine mentorship, and a clear pathway to becoming a fully qualified technician. Whether you’re currently in the Mercedes-Benz network or working with another prestige or luxury brand, we want to hear from you.
Position Scope:
• Perform scheduled servicing, maintenance, and repairs on Mercedes-Benz vehicles under supervision and independently as skills develop
• Develop proficiency with Mercedes-Benz diagnostic systems and workshop tools (XENTRY/DAS)
• Progress through and complete all remaining units of your Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology
• Work collaboratively with qualified technicians and contribute positively to the workshop team
• Attend and actively engage in all on-the-job and off-the-job training requirements
• Maintain accurate job documentation and adhere to workshop safety and quality standards
• Represent the Autosports Group values of integrity, quality, and teamwork
Our Ideal Candidate Will Possess the Following Skills and Experience:
• Currently enrolled as a 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year apprentice in a Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology
• Experience in an automotive workshop environment — prestige, luxury, or super-luxury brand experience highly regarded
• Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi, Porsche, Lexus, or equivalent brand experience warmly considered
• A genuine passion for the automotive trade and a desire to complete your qualification at the highest level
• A coachable, team-first attitude with a strong work ethic and professional approach
• Ability to follow direction and work both independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver’s licence
