About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Allied Health Professional to join our multi-disciplinary team delivering high-quality mental health services in the North of Tasmania. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of young people and their families by providing specialist assessment and treatment services.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Ensure the delivery of a comprehensive clinical service through the provision of assessment, case management and individual therapies, including specialised therapies for clients and their families or carers.
Provide evidence-based assessment and treatment interventions for clients with major and complex mental health problems, including the development and implementation of specialised treatment programs.
Function as an active member of a multi-disciplinary team, including the provision of support and consultation to other team members as required.
Prepare specialised reports as required.
Consult and liaise with the broader health system including GPs, other Agencies and families and carers to optimise service effectiveness and efficiency and continuity of care.

A competitive salary range of $110,425 to $123,703 per annum, plus our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution.

Essential Criteria:
Tertiary qualification/program of study approved by the Occupational Board of Australia and Registered with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia; or
Tertiary qualification/program of study approved by the Psychology Board of Australia and Registered with the Psychology Board of Australia; or
Tertiary qualification/program of study approved by the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) and is a full member of AASW or is eligible for membership with the AASW; or
Tertiary qualification/program of study accredited by Speech Pathology Australia and is a full member of Speech Pathology Australia or is eligible for membership with Speech Pathology Australia.
