Position: Full time, Permanent Our client, Blue Paramount Pty Ltd trading as Blinds & Designs is the exclusive Luxaflex dealer in the Central Coast region and a trusted specialist in premium window coverings, shutters, awnings, venetians and shading solutions. The business focuses on delivering expert product advice, tailored design solutions and professional installation using the full Luxaflex range.
We are recruiting on behalf of the owner for an experienced, customer-focused Retail Manager to lead the East Gosford showroom. This is a hands-on leadership role for a retail professional who can drive sales, manage the store team, and deliver exceptional consultative customer experiences for residential and commercial clients. Minimum Requirements:
AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma At least three years of experience in a similar Retail Manager role. ((experience in window coverings, homewares, furniture or a related retail category highly regarded).
What you will be responsible for: Lead day-to-day showroom operations, ensuring exceptional customer service and smooth store performance. Manage, coach and develop the retail team to meet service and sales targets.
Drive and implement sales strategies and promotional activity to achieve revenue and profitability goals. Deliver expert product consultations and ensure staff are trained and competent in the Luxaflex product range and specification. Luxaflex
Oversee quoting, order processing, and liaison with installers to ensure accurate measurements, timely installations and customer satisfaction. Ensure optimal stock levels and inventory controls for samples, displays and showroom merchandise are maintained Ensure showroom visual merchandising aligns with brand standards and creates a strong customer experience.
Analyse sales data and customer trends to inform forecasting, stock replenishment and promotional planning. Prepare and present regular store performance reports to ownership/head office. Manage staff rostering, payroll administration support and performance reviews.
Ensure compliance with WHS, quality and company policies across the showroom and installations. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, trade partners and suppliers. Skills and attributes:
Demonstrated ability to lead a small team, drive sales and deliver high-quality customer consultative experiences. Strong commercial acumen: sales, stock control, quoting and basic P&L awareness. Proficiency with retail management software; competency in preparing regular performance reports.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; confident in customer-facing consultations and trade liaison. A customer-first mindset, strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise in a busy retail environment. Knowledge of Luxaflex product range or experience with made-to-measure window coverings is desirable.
