Working within cross‑functional product teams, you’ll design high‑quality, customer‑centric solutions to solve meaningful customer problems, while uncovering new opportunities to deliver ongoing value. Through the consistent application of user‑centred design methodologies, you’ll help bring ideas to life and contribute to a growing design capability as we continue on this exciting journey. Your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: Producing storyboards, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity solution designs based on UX research, analysis and experimentation activities. Supporting the creation and ongoing maintenance of a scalable, brand‑aligned design system to ensure UX/UI consistency across websites. Evaluating design options and prototypes to obtain user feedback on requirements of developing systems, products, services or devices through both quantitative and qualitative methods. Collaborating with various stakeholders such as product owners, developers, and data analysts to align design with business objectives. This role offers the flexibility to be based in Brisbane (Strathpine, preferred location), Sydney (Rhodes), or Melbourne with a hybrid work model. About you To be successful in this role, you’ll bring strong communication and collaboration skills and enjoy working closely within cross‑functional, collaborative teams. With a continuous improvement mindset, you’re comfortable identifying opportunities for optimisation and transforming customer insights into thoughtful, actionable design outcomes that balance user needs, business goals and technical constraints. You’re confident contributing across the full design lifecycle, from research and analysis through to testing, delivery and support during development, and thrive in an environment where research, experimentation and iteration are central to design decision‑making. In this role, you will bring: Proven delivery of UX/UI artefacts, including personas or archetypes, journey maps, storyboards, wireframes, prototypes and high‑fidelity designs informed by research and experimentation Experience assisting in the creation and maintenance of design systems or pattern libraries to support scalable and consistent UX/UI outcomes Hands‑on experience using UX and UI design tools to create, iterate and validate solutions Strong web and mobile design experience, with solid knowledge of responsive, mobile‑first and accessibility‑focused design principles Understanding of design development and testing methodologies, including iterative design, validation, refinement and usability/accessibility testing Strong customer research and analytical skills, with experience applying both qualitative and quantitative methods to inform and validate design decisions Proven ability to plan and facilitate user research, usability testing, workshops and feedback sessions to capture customer needs and business requirements Experience evaluating existing and competitor digital experiences, analysing findings and recommending actionable design improvements Ability to produce clear research outputs, communicating methodology, insights and conclusions in collaboration with research and experimentation specialists Experience developing user stories and structuring UX analysis activities using standard tools, frameworks and techniques Ability to support delivery teams through development and UAT cycles, providing documentation, clarification and design support to ensure intended experiences are realised Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly present and explain design solutions, methodologies and trade‑offs to diverse stakeholders WHY JOIN US?
