Your new role
We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our busy branch operation. This role involves continuous forklift operation over an 8-hour shift, handling extremely large and heavy components, some weighing up to 14 tonnes. You will be working with 5-metre-high stacks and be responsible for loading and unloading shipping containers and trucks.
Your day-to-day job will have you completing the following:
* Operate electric reach trucks and diesel forklifts ranging from 2.5 to 18 tonnes.
* Safely load and unload trucks and shipping containers.
* Move large OEM components and heavy parts with precision and care.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
* Follow all safety protocols and operational procedures.
What you'll need to succeed
* Proven experience operating electric reach trucks and large diesel forklifts (2.5 - 18 tonnes)
* Demonstrated ability to handle oversized and heavy components
* Strong understanding of warehouse safety standards
* HRWL - Forklift
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
