The opportunity
The Residential Manager will lead all operational, governance and compliance functions within a 180-bed residential aged care home, ensuring high-quality care and service delivery. The Fraser Coast, Maryborough site is one of QLD's largest aged care landscapes which presents a robust team of leaders inclusive of a Deputy Residential Manager, 3 Clinical Managers, 2 Clinical Care Coordinators, a Quality Coordinator. You will also be supported by QLD's own Clinical Nurse Educator and Quality Manager. Reporting to the regional General Manager Operations, the Residential Manager will:
* Drive a high-performing team culture focused on safety, respect, and continuous improvement
* Oversee financial performance, workforce planning, and accreditation readiness
* Provide exemplary customer experience to residents, families, and community engagement
* Promote service and operational excellence and ensure adherence to Quality and Safety Standards
About you
You are an experienced leader in aged care or a comparable complex service environment, with:
* Minimum 2 years in a senior role managing large to extra-large homes
* Strong business acumen and experience with budgets, KPIs, and reporting
* Proven ability to lead a large team, inclusive of managers, and foster engagement during change
* Sound understanding of Aged Care Quality and Safety Standards and a relationship with the Aged Care Commission
* Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Degree in health or business; RN registration and commissioning experience highly regarded
