**About the role**
We have vacancies for Disability Support Workers to provide support in the Community and Direct Care service areas. Disability Services provides high-quality services aimed at supporting individuals to remain independent within the community.
**About you**
Our Disability Support Workers (DSW) provide quality care and support to people with disabilities to create and live the lifestyle of their choosing while empowering them to have a voice and achieve their goals.
Services which may include:
- Supporting clients to reach their goals through direct and group based activities including community access and engagement
- Providing individual personal care services
- Perform a range of domestic duties including cleaning, shopping and cooking
- Assist to develop, review and update support plans that are achievable and client focused
**Skills, Experience & Requirements**
- Experience and knowledge in the Disability sector
- Certificate III Individual Support or Certificate IV Disability or similar
- Knowledge of and respect for the rights and choices of clients and their families
- Person-Centred approach to providing care and services
- Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
- Current Level 2 First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Current valid Victorian Driver's Licence
- NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children's Check
- Valid vaccinations status for COVID-19 and flu vaccination.
You may be required to work a range of morning, afternoon, weekend and full day shifts
