This is a newly created role within a new department dedicated to advancement and engagement to strengthen our voice, elevate our brand, and increase our visibility on a national scale. It’s an exciting opportunity to help shape how Miwatj is seen, heard, and understood across Australia.

Reporting to the Executive Director, Engagement & Advancement (EDEA), you will lead innovative communications and marketing initiatives that are engaging, culturally respectful, and aligned with Miwatj’s vision and values - amplifying our impact and celebrating the strength and stories of the communities we serve.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Deliver communications, marketing, and brand initiatives
* Coordinate recruitment and health promotion campaigns
* Manage social media, website, EDMs, and digital communications
* Create engaging and culturally appropriate content
* Support media and stakeholder engagement
* Mentor and support the Communications Officer
* Track campaign performance and identify opportunities for growth
About You
* Experience in communications, marketing, media, or stakeholder engagement
* Strong digital marketing skills across social media, EDMs, and CMS platforms
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
* The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
* Understanding of culturally respectful communication practices
