Regulatory Services Officer – OpportunitiesYour role is key within regulatory services and will assist the Regulatory Services Supervisor – Animal Management with investigating complex animal matters that may lead to enforcement, appeals, and legal action including regulated dog management and barking dog CRMs.You will also maintain high customer service standards and effective CRM response by:Undertaking rigorous and detailed investigations of alleged offences and implementing correct regulatory action (e.g. warnings, infringements, enforcement notices, impoundment, etc.)Assisting with the training and mentoring of Regulatory Services staffAssisting in the development and implementation of standard operating proceduresImplementing an annual Declared Dogs (dangerous & menacing) inspection programTaking a lead and/or providing advice for staff in complex animal control mattersEngaging in discussions, investigations, and negotiations with the public to achieve education and ensure complianceOnce fully trained, being included in an ‘on-call’ roster for provision of services after hours and on weekends
