CBC Fremantle is a Catholic school in the Edmund Rice tradition for boys in Years 7-12. Founded by the Christian Brothers in 1901, the College has served the local Fremantle community for over a century helping families to raise boys who continually strive for excellence and who exhibit Catholic Leadership in their quest to establish a more just and peaceful society.

The College seeks to assist in the spiritual, academic, cultural, physical and emotional development of boys while acknowledging the primary role of the family as educator. As such, the College encourages its students to rigorously pursue excellence in all dimensions of their lives and to become leaders within their community through the active expression of their faith.

The Digital Content Creator plays a key role in shaping and maintaining the online presence of CBC Fremantle. Working closely with the Community Relations Department, the role is responsible for creating and curating engaging, high-quality digital content that authentically reflects the College's culture, values, and community. The position supports the College's marketing and communications strategy through the creation, management, and optimisation of content across the College website, social media platforms, and other digital communication channels. You value creative freedom and bring fresh, innovative ideas to the table. The successful candidate will report directly to the Principal.

Key Selection Criteria

The successful applicant will:

* Demonstrate an understanding of the charism of Blessed Edmund Rice as articulated in the Charter for Catholic Schools in the Edmund Rice Tradition.
* Give witness to their membership of a Catholic community through their attitudes, actions and practice.
* Be willing to become an active member of the CBC Fremantle community with a strong commitment to promoting and supporting the varied aspects of College life.
* Have excellent interpersonal skills which promote positive and mutually beneficial relationships and be able to work cooperatively as part of a team.
* Have excellent written and visual communication skills.
* Have exceptional attention to detail.
* Have strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
* Ability to interpret creative briefs and translate concepts.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, creative environment.

Key Responsibilities

The successful applicant will:

* Be prepared to work closely with the Principal and staff to ensure that CBC Fremantle authentically reflects the mission of a Catholic school in the Edmund Rice Tradition.
* Have demonstrated experience in digital content creation, including photography and video production.
* Have a strong understanding of social media platforms, digital trends and content management systems.
* Create, curate and publish engaging digital content across the College website, social media platforms and digital communication channels.
* Capture and produce high-quality photography and video showcasing College life, events, achievements and culture.
* Edit and optimise digital content in line with College brand and communication objectives.
* Collaborate with the Community Relations team to plan and schedule content aligned with key College initiatives.
* Support enrolment marketing, events and community engagement through digital platforms.
* Maintain and manage a comprehensive digital image and video library.
* Apply and uphold the College's style guide across all digital content.
* Work collaboratively with staff to tell authentic College stories.
* Undertake other duties as reasonably required.

Desirable

* Experience working in a school, or a strong interest in the education sector.

Position Details

* Permanent part-time position (0.6 FTE), commencing as soon as practicable.
* The role is based on 45 working weeks per year, with leave taken during school holiday periods: one week at the beginning of each of the three term breaks, plus four weeks of annual leave at the end of the school year.
* Salary will be negotiated based on qualifications and experience.
