With recurrent project wins and a strong pipeline of work, we are seeking a Director Level Dam Engineer to join our Melbourne AECOM Dams Team.

By joining our team, you will get to work with some industry leading experts in the fields of geotechnical, structural and dam design and mentor and coach high performing engineers. You will also get the opportunity to work and collaborate with our interstate (Brisbane, Melbourne and Newcastle) and international offices (USA, New Zealand).
Minimum Requirements
You enjoy working in teams and aspire to progress into advanced technical roles based on your specialist knowledge. You enjoy being accountable for your work and being influential in the project’s performance. You enjoy developing and nurturing relationships within AECOM and the local industry, whether through project work, client initiatives or industry associations. You are positive, and see challenges as opportunities to innovate, collaborate and grow. You are an active team member and are eager to take on new and different.
Ideally, you will have:
* 15+ years’ experience in dams experience (preferred)
* A passion for mentoring and leadership – guiding our growing team of engineers to provide high quality outputs and excellent client service
* Proven experience in delivering above expected outcomes and a strong technical capability to enable you to lead geotechnical design teams and design programs from options-analysis through to detailed design
* You will be confident in leading and running geotechnical engineering components of complex, major projects and providing technical and strategic direction in their delivery
* You will maintain the key pillars of our team culture.
Preferred Qualifications
* A degree in Civil, Structural or Geotechnical Engineering or a related discipline (Essential)
