The Role
Reporting to the General Manager Safety this role will have the autonomy to make a difference. At Higgins Safety sits with us all. We offer a flexible workplace with many benefits for our employees.The development of the incumbent in this role is only limited by their own ambition.
Duties will include:
* Execute National and state WHSE activities, programs and initiatives
* Parter with management and operations staff to understand business requirements to provide timely and practical day to day advice
* Monitor safety compliance on site
* Identify areas for improvement across all facets of safety and compliance
* Assist with ISO audit
About you
As an experienced practical safety advisor, you are as passionate about safety as we are. You are driven by the desire to make others more aware of safety in the workplace. You are focused on providing educate on site and in turn increasing self-regulation within the business. Process improvement is in your DNA and you love autonomy.
As a self-motivated qualified professional, you enjoy working with others and adopt a solution orientated attitude. You will hold a Certificate IV in WHS or Diploma in Safety along with internal audit qualifications.
