Role Overview
This is a people-focused role that sits at the heart of our company culture. You will be the first point of contact for new employees, setting the tone for a welcoming and professional environment. You’ll play a key role in general administration, onboarding employees, HR administration, development and implementation of procedures and policies, safety coordination, and event planning, while also supporting general company operations.
About the role:
You will be responsible for, but not limited to the below:
HR & Onboarding
· Coordinate onboarding for new hires, including welcome packs, induction scheduling, and system setup.
· Maintain employee records and assist with HR documentation.
· Support probation reviews and performance tracking.
· Liaise with managers to ensure smooth transitions for new team members.
· Assist with various HR functions, including induction, ensuring licenses are up to date, development, retention, and separation.
· Coordinate subsidies and funding from schemes including, Government, Apprentice and Training organisations.
· Assist with developing people and culture pieces and implementing them throughout the Company.
· Ensure compliance with laws and policies - Uphold adherence to relevant employment and safety regulations, as well as internal policies and procedures (Bonus incentive scheme available for this).
· Design and deliver HR training - Develop and deliver training materials on HR policies and construction practices and conduct sessions to ensure understanding and compliance.
Event & Admin Coordination
· Organise internal monthly meetings.
· Book travel, catering, and meeting logistics when required.
· Support general administrative tasks including filing, document prep, and office supplies.
Culture Champion
· Be the “go-to” person for internal queries and cultural engagement.
· Support internal communications and help foster a positive workplace vibe.
