MSS is seeking a dynamic Clinical Manager to lead our team of nurses and occupational therapists in delivering exceptional, person-centred care. The Clinical Manager provides leadership, governance, and oversight of all clinical care functions. This role ensures that nursing and allied health services are delivered safely, effectively, and in compliance with clinical standards, professional guidelines, and the Aged Care Quality Standards.
The Clinical Manager works collaboratively with MSS staff to promote a culture of clinical excellence, quality improvement, and person-centred care.
Tasks and responsibilities include:
* Team leadership and staff support
* Oversee clinical care delivery and monitor safety and quality
* Provide education, empowerment and health literacy to clients and carers
* Maintain documentation, reporting and compliance
Selection Criteria
Essential Qualifications and Requirements:
* Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse or Allied Health professional with a minimum of 5 years' experience.
* Sound knowledge of aged care legislation, funding, and compliance frameworks.
* Use of a suitable, reliable vehicle that has current NSW registration and third-party property damage insurance.
* Current NSW provisional or full driving licence.
* Current CPR certificate.
* Willing to undergo a Pre-Employment Functional Assessment and Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (at MSS's expense).
Skills and Experience
* Experience in leading or supervising staff.
* Experience developing and delivering training to teams and individuals.
* Strong leadership, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
* Excellent time management and ability to prioritise.
* High-level written and verbal communication skills.
* Commitment to person-centred, quality-focused service delivery.
* Proficient computer and data management skills.
* Understanding of safe work practices and manual handling techniques.
* Experience supporting clients from diverse backgrounds with empathy and cultural competence.
