We are looking for an energetic and passionate Store Manager to join our team at the General Pants Canberra Civic store!

As the Store Manager, you’ll lead your passionate and committed team to create a customer‑driven culture in‑store and work together to achieve goals along the way. You will be in charge of all store operations to ensure the shop runs smoothly and efficiently, mentor and develop team members to achieve success and inspire them to grow with General Pants.
Responsibilities
* Lead and motivate the team to create a customer‑driven culture and achieve operational goals.
* Manage all store operations, ensuring smooth day‑to‑day performance.
* Review sales and stock sell‑through reports, analyze impacts, and collaborate with the Regional Manager on future actions.
* Coach staff to translate reports into actionable steps to reach sales targets.
* Hold yourself and each team member accountable for their results.
* Develop team members, celebrating strengths and addressing gaps through honesty, generosity, and empowerment.
* Manage workloads, workflow, time‑management, and delivery through strong accountability and goal setting.
* Inspire the team to take pride in their contribution to the wider business strategy.
* Prioritise wellbeing and mental health, encouraging healthy self‑care and open communication.
Qualifications
* At least 2 years of management experience in a retail environment.
* Genuine love and understanding of fashion and our brands.
* Confidence to lead, motivate and engage a diverse team.
* Proven success in coaching and developing teams and individuals.
* Track record of driving and exceeding sales targets and budgets.
* Sound knowledge of retail operations including budgets, wages, rostering, visual merchandising, stock management, and shrinkage.
* Must have full Australian working rights.
