The incumbent operates within a politically sensitive environment to address complex organisational, operational, and staff issues.The Principal Inspector (Occupational Hygienist) will be responsible for identifying and delivering coordinated hygiene-based programs across various industries within South Australia.
Additionally, the role involves providing specialist advice and assistance in the delivery of statewide intervention activities and representing SWSA at state and national levels within their area of expertise.To succeed in this role, candidates should have a relevant degree in science, applied science, or engineering, including coursework in quantitative science or occupational hygiene subjects (biochemistry, microbiology, chemistry, occupational toxicology, epidemiology, and hazards).
