*The Role
An opportunity has become available for several Clinical Facilitator (Entry to Practice) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
Provide impartial advice to guide and resolve issues related to learners and clinical practice
Have high level communication skills, particularly in providing feedback, negotiation and problem solving.
Work collaboratively with internal and external partners to maximise learning and facilitation for students and newly qualified nurses.
Support the Entry to Practice Educator role
About you
To be successful in this position you will require:
Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent
Registration with the Nursing Midwifery Board of Australia
Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Base salary ranging from $107,960 - $115,604 per annum

The Nursing and Midwifery Education and Research Unit drives the development of an appropriately skilled nursing and midwifery workforce to deliver evidence-based, person-focused care to our community. The unit is led by the Director of Nursing, Nursing and Midwifery Education and Research, and sits within the Division of Nursing, Midwifery and Patient Experience.
