Job Overview:
The Duty Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations across various departments, leading and mentoring front-of-house staff, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, managing cash handling and reporting, and supporting the Venue Manager with rostering and training.
* Previous leadership or supervisory experience in hospitality
* Strong people management and communication skills
* Proven ability to manage busy service environments
* Sound knowledge of compliance and cash handling procedures
* Current RSA and RCG certifications
* Availability for a flexible roster, including nights and weekends
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily operations across multiple areas, including bar, bistro, gaming, and entertainment.
* Lead and mentor front-of-house staff to achieve high standards of customer service.
* Ensure compliance with RSA, WHS, and licensing obligations.
* Manage cash handling, opening/closing procedures, and daily reporting.
* Support the Venue Manager with rostering, training, and operations.
