We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Maintenance Officer for a full-time position at Aegis St Michael's.
As an important part of the Aegis team, you will:
* Provide maintenance of buildings and equipment under the direction of the Unit and Facility Managers.
* Monitor effectiveness of completed work and report issues to the Facility Managers.
* Monitor and maintain required levels of stores and supplies.
* Carry out preventative maintenance program as scheduled.

Recently acquired by the Aegis Aged Care Group, Aegis St Michael's is located close to North Perth's vibrant café and shopping district. It is situated on a quiet suburban street surrounded by heritage residential dwellings.
Aegis St Michael's is a bright and spacious residence with particular attention being given to the shared outdoor and indoor living spaces. It is an open community being made up of a culturally diverse population including many from Italian and Macedonian backgrounds.

About You
To be successful in this position you will:
* Have a high attention to detail.
* Computer competent.
* Experienced in report writing.
* Be able to communicate to all levels of employees, and customers.
* Be able to work effectively and efficiently within a team environment and autonomously.
* Have knowledge of general maintenance procedures and repairs.
* Hold a 'Test & Tag' Certificate desirable, however not essential.
* 'Working at Heights' Ticket and a previous background within a trade will be highly desirable, however not essential.
