Overview
The Aqua Jetty in Warnbro is a premier aquatic and health facility operated by the City of Rockingham, offering a range of programs and facilities for the community. The centre is open 7 days a week and is committed to providing excellent customer service to all patrons.
Responsibilities
* Supervise gym users and uphold the safety of the centre at all times, providing technical advice and support as required
* Design and deliver safe and effective fitness programs suitable to patrons' health requirements
* Promote personal training opportunities, manage daily opening and closing of the club, and maintain a clean and safe environment
* Be a customer-focused team player with excellent communication, strong time management, and a good understanding of health club operations
Qualifications and Selection Criteria
* Must possess a Certificate IV in Fitness (Personal Training)
* AUSactive Certified
* Current Provide First Aid and CPR certificates
* Previous experience in a similar position
* Advanced knowledge of exercise testing, prescription and rehabilitation
* Very good verbal communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong experience in a customer service environment
Requirements and Work Hours
* Applicants must be flexible and available to work in line with the facility's opening hours
* Positions are offered with a guaranteed minimum of 10 hours per week
* Aqua Jetty operates seven days per week, with hours as described in the original posting
What We Offer
The hourly rate for this position is $34.83 plus superannuation.
