We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining our Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO9001 requirements. This role is key to ensuring our processes are documented, followed and continuously improved so that our products meet the highest standards of quality. The Quality Coordinator will work closely with other departments to coordinate quality activities, support audits, manage documentation and track non-conformances, corrective actions and improvements.
Based in our facility in inner city Melbourne, this position is a great opportunity for someone who has strong organisational skills and attention to detail and is passionate about quality.
Key responsibilities
* Maintain the Quality Management System in accordance to ISO9001
* Ensure procedures, work instructions, records and other QMS documentation is accurate, controlled and fit for purpose
* Support other departments in understanding and applying ISO9001 requirements in day-to-day activities
* Conduct internal audits and support external certification and surveillance audits to ensure compliance
* Track audit findings and ensure timely completion of corrective actions
* Collaborate with other departments to identify non-conformances, conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventative action plans
* Monitor and analyse quality metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement
* Support change control activities to ensure changes are assessed, approved and documented
* Support quality-related training and onboarding activities
* Help build a quality culture across the business
Key selection criteria
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities
* Confidence coordinating actions across multiple teams
* Experience working with a Quality Management System or in a regulated environment
* Clear written and verbal communication skills, including ability to present reports to management
* Positive and proactive approach to supporting quality activities
* Tertiary qualifications in a related field (science, engineering, business)
* Internal audit training or experience
* Experience with document control
* Experience in conducting internal training, including adjusting approach to stakeholder group
* Experience working with root cause analysis tools
