In this varied internal role, you will manage and service a diverse portfolio of clients, working closely with insurers and the Director to deliver tailored insurance solutions.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Engaging with clients via phone and email to understand their insurance needs and provide appropriate recommendations
* Preparing, reviewing/remarketing:
o Renewals
o Endorsements
o New business
o Claims
* Building and maintaining strong, long‑term relationships with clients and insurers
* Previous experience in general insurance classes is essential to effectively manage diverse client portfolios
* Accurate data entry and processing of new business, renewals and endorsements
* Making informed decisions based on your experience and knowledge of insurer products and risk appetite
* Assisting the Director and other team members as required
About You
You are a proactive and reliable insurance professional who enjoys working autonomously while still being part of a collaborative team.
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
* 2–5 years’ general insurance experience (broker environment preferred)
* Tier 1 qualification (preferred)
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong computer skills, including efficient typing and confident use of email and broking systems
* Well‑developed analytical and problem‑solving abilities
* The ability to work independently, manage competing deadlines and prioritise workload
* A team‑focused mindset with the ability to support and collaborate with others
