The Role
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee daily maintenance operations, ensuring efficiency and safety.
The successful candidate will lead and supervise the maintenance team to deliver high-quality work, develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all facilities, and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and school policies in all maintenance tasks.
The role also involves managing building projects, renovations, and classroom setups in collaboration with external contractors, maintaining detailed records of tools, equipment, and maintenance activities.
Key Skills and Experience
* Proven leadership and team management abilities - Min 5 years ideally
* Trade background with experience in Property Management, Facilities Management or Construction
* Strong communication skills, capable of interacting with staff, students, and external partners
* In-depth knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) practices and regulations
* Extensive experience in property maintenance, facilities management, or construction
* Proficiency in financial management, including budgeting and forecasting
* Familiarity with maintenance management software and reporting tools
