Weekday WREN / HITH
Full-time Front Reception (76 hours per fortnight)
About the Role
We are seeking passionate and enthusiastic administration professionals who enjoy being on the front line, supporting patients, their families, and clinical teams. This role suits someone with strong customer service skills and a love for a varied, fast-paced administrative environment.
Managing a busy reception desk, including answering calls and managing enquiries
Maintaining electronic and paper-based medical records
Ensuring accuracy and efficiency across all record-keeping systems
Supporting ward staff with day-to-day administrative tasks
Liaising with internal departments and team members as required
Completing clerical tasks such as data entry, scanning, preparing documents, and welcome packs
Conducting Health Fund checks and completing financial tasks related to patient admissions
Your Skills and Experience
To be successful, you will be approachable, organised, and committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred administrative support.
Essential Skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
Accurate data entry and strong attention to detail
Flexibility to take on additional shifts where required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Desirable Skills
Minimum 1 year experience in a hospital or medical administration position
Knowledge of medical terminology
Experience using Meditech PAS or similar systems
Experience with electronic medical record systems such as iPM, Cerner, or equivalents
About the Service
The Women's Mental Health Service is a dedicated program supporting women experiencing a range of mental health conditions. The service provides a supportive and therapeutic environment led by a multidisciplinary team. Programs may include inpatient care, day programs, and community-based support for conditions such as mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, psychosis, and addictions.
