Are you a qualified Electrician with a strong commitment to safety and a passion for problem-solving? We're looking for a motivated individual to join our Maintenance Team and help ensure the smooth operation of our production facility and plant.
In this role, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day electrical maintenance of our equipment, working to maximise reliability and minimise downtime across the site.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform electrical maintenance and repairs in line with trade qualifications, company procedures, and legal requirements
* Assist in maintaining electrical systems and machinery to manufacturer standards
* Support the development and review of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
* Collect and interpret data related to safety, quality, and machine reliability
* Participate in training and mentoring of apprentices
* Maintain accurate electrical documentation and drawings
* Ensure compliance with WHS standards and company policies
* Lead by example in safety, teamwork, and work quality
What We're Looking For:
Essential:
* Electrical trade qualification and current licence
* Strong literacy, numeracy, and communication skills
* Ability to interpret and record data
* Familiarity with SOPs and PC/Office applications
* Valid driver's licence
* Excellent time management and attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Self-motivated, reliable, and adaptable
Desirable:
* Familiarity with MEX or similar maintenance systems
* Experience in the food or manufacturing industry
* Current First Aid certificate
* Confined Space and Manual Handling training
* Forklift and Elevated Work Platform tickets
* Experienced with PLC and HMI programming, primarily Allen Bradley.
* Experience with SCADA systems like citect or ignition is desirable but can be trained
* Ability to Trouble-shoot electrical control systems
