United Fluid Power is an established and growing Western Australian business specialising in the maintenance, overhaul, product sales, distribution and technical support of complex hydraulic and mechanical fixed plant assets across the resources, defence and energy sectors. The Role

We are seeking a capable and self-motivated HSEQ Coordinator to support our workshop and field operations across metro and Peel region client sites. This role is based at our Bibra Lake office and includes regular site travel to conduct inspections, audits and field HSEQ support activities.

You will work closely with supervisors, technicians and managers to maintain compliance, strengthen safety and quality systems, and drive continuous improvement across the business. The role combines systems, reporting and audit responsibilities with practical, site-based safety engagement.

We are open to both full-time and part-time (4 days per week) arrangements for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

* Maintain and improve HSEQ systems, procedures and compliance registers
* Conduct workshop and site safety inspections, audits and risk reviews
* Ensure compliance with WHS legislation and company HSEQ standard
* Manage incident and hazard reporting, investigations and corrective actions
* Administer contractor and client compliance platforms and portals
* Prepare and report HSEQ and KPI performance metrics and improvement initiatives
* Support internal and external audits and certification activities
* Coordinate emergency preparedness activities and equipment checks
* Coordinate injury management and return-to-work programs
* Facilitate safety inductions, training and HSEQ meetings
* Support tenders, pre-qualifications and RFQs from a HSEQ perspective

Qualifications & Experience

* Certificate IV in WHS / Occupational Health and Safety (or equivalent)
* Experience in an HSEQ or safety role within an industrial, maintenance or contracting environment
* Sound knowledge of Australian WHS legislation and compliance requirements
* Experience conducting inspections, audits and incident investigations
* Experience maintaining HSEQ systems, registers and compliance documentation
* Familiarity with contractor and client compliance platforms and portals
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and cloud-based reporting systems
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* High level of professionalism, integrity and commitment to safety culture
* Current driver's licence
* Training and Assessing qualification desirable (or willingness to obtain)
