The Team Lead role will ensure the seamless transition of new products into manufacturing. This involves leading and developing a team to ensure production schedules are adhered to in a safe, efficient, and timely manner, in alignment with our Quality Management System. The Team Lead will also support accurate feedback to Process Engineering, updated training plans and alignment of Team Member expectations. This is a permanent full-time role based in our Macquarie University and Lane Cove sites.
The successful candidate will have leadership skills, and experience with digital computer systems and general business acumen including presentation skills. They will be confident communicators, able to prioritize and deliver Business needs, and explain the why to engage the team or business.
This role presents the opportunity to work across organisational boundaries and visibility with leadership team, with exposure to ERP and IT tools as well as working with multi-disciplined teams within Manufacturing such as Engineering, Maintenance and Calibration, Procurement and other shared services. There is also opportunity for further training and advancement to develop organisational and planning skills.
