What will your typical day look like?
Our IT specialists work closely with financial auditors to understand clients' businesses, strategies, processes, IT architecture, and risks. We stay updated on emerging technologies in the IT environment and help develop audit plans to address financial risks related to these technologies. We support clients in enhancing their IT control governance maturity while they improve their IT solutions through agile, cloud, robotics, large ERPs, and other advanced IT techniques.
In a highly integrated audit environment, you will plan audits with our financial auditors, manage fieldwork teams, evaluate control design, and assess the effectiveness of internal controls related to IT processes and systems to ensure the integrity of financial statements.
This role offers challenges to build your skills, opportunities to meet new people, and experience across various client bases. You will receive in-depth training in IT, business processes, and soft skills including project management to enhance your strengths.
About the team
Part of the Audit & Assurance division, the Technology and Controls Team (TaCT) reviews IT controls to safeguard assets, ensure controls align with business goals, and maintain financial statement integrity. We bring IT and accounting expertise to help clients understand their technology controls and performance. About you
* 2-5 years of IT audit experience in professional services or a corporate ASX 200 environment.
* IT and Business qualifications (favourable).
* Eligible for or pursuing a professional qualification such as CISA, CA, or equivalent.
* Practical knowledge of technology, internal/external audit, or risk management, with experience in public or private sectors.
* High-performing IT audit/risk professional seeking new challenges.
* Ability to deliver quality work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
