We are excited to be recruiting for a Senior Engineer Network for our Developer Services team, that forms part of our Customer & Innovation group.
The Customer and Innovation group leads and champions the way Urban Utilities connects with its customers. Our approach is focused on remaining contemporary, by understanding the current and future needs of our customers and appropriately shaping our services.
In this role you will provide professional and technical advice and water and wastewater engineering assessment for proposed development servicing at a site. You will also provide operational advice and guidance to cross functional stakeholders to support Developer outcomes.
Responsibilities
* Assess, review and design network engineering solutions for development water and wastewater services and the associated validation process to enable the realization of organizational and/or regulatory standards.
* Assess and decide Water Approval applications to ensure quality water and wastewater servicing and infrastructure for development in accordance with legislation, codes, policies and agreed standards. Also plan, coordinate and advise on activities relating to Water Approvals and related development services
* Assess and decided Build Over Asset (BOA)/Construction Over Asset (COA) applications in accordance with legislation, codes, policies and agreed standards.
* Develop and implement short/medium-term work schedules in order to achieve targets for the processing of water and wastewater applications in accordance with relevant legislation, codes, policies and agreed standards and manage resources to complete tasks, to a high quality, in short timeframes.
* Design and review high complexity solutions in line with industry best practice and provide a point of escalation and collaboration with cross-functional projects.
* Lead a small team and support team members by driving team plans and how it connects to the organization's strategy, mission and vision; motivate people to achieve local business goals.
About You
* Bachelor of Civil Engineering or specialised experience in development in accordance with legislation, codes, policies and agreed standards.
* You have led small-medium sized terms and do so by fostering an inclusive and high-performing culture to safely deliver exceptional results.
* You have a customer focussed mindset and naturally build meaningful customer relationships with both internal and external groups. You excel at collaboration, aligning objectives, and achieving desired outcomes.
