A global real estate private equity platform is seeking an Acquisitions Analyst to join their high-performing transactions team. This is a hands-on analytical role providing exposure to large-scale, complex real estate investments across multiple sectors and strategies in Australia.
The position has been created due to continued deal activity and an expanding pipeline, offering exposure to sourcing, underwriting, and executing transactions. You will work alongside senior investment professionals on investment committee materials, due diligence, structuring, and post-acquisition onboarding.
Key Responsibilities:
* Financial modelling and investment underwriting for real estate acquisitions
* Conduct due diligence, including market research, asset-level analysis, and location assessment
* Support transaction structuring and documentation for equity and debt
* Prepare Investment Committee materials and internal approvals
* Collaborate with internal teams, including asset management, legal, and capital markets
* Monitor financial performance of existing assets and contribute to post-acquisition onboarding
* Assist with ad-hoc projects and portfolio analysis as required
The Candidate:
* Degree-qualified in Property, Finance, Economics, Commerce, Business, or a related field
* Minimum 3–5 years' experience in real estate - A MUST
* Strong financial modelling and analytical skills; experience with Excel and/or specialist real estate software (Argus, Yardi, Dyna, Cougar)
* Familiarity with institutional investment processes, structuring, and due diligence
* Ability to manage multiple transactions concurrently with attention to detail
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; confident presenting analysis to senior stakeholders
