- **Cardinal Freeman Retirement Village, Ashfield**

Are you looking for the next step in your career? This could be it. We're looking for someone to join the team at our flagship retirement village, Cardinal Freeman, home to over 400 of our residents.

A full time, permanent position, 8.00am - 4.00pm, Monday to Friday, and though predominantly based onsite there is some flexibility to be able to work from home on occasions.

**About the role**:
Your role, as the Assistant Village Manager is crucial to ensuring the smooth day to day operations and future success of the village as well as maintaining the comfort and happiness of our valued residents. Supporting the Village Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

- Ensuring a first-class experience for new residents moving into the village
- Manage all communications with the resident community
- Manage the maintenance of the village in line with approved budgets, liaising with maintenance and contractors
- Maintain all documentation and accounting records relevant to the operations of the village
- In the Village Manager's absence, manage all financial management, and performance of the village asset as well as overseeing and supervising of the staff

**About you**:

- Able to demonstrate relevant experience, from within the retirement living industry, aged care, hospitality, or similar industry, where your skills are transferable
- Excellent customer service skills and relationship management skills
- Adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple tasks including reactive work whilst remaining empathetic to the residents
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to determine the best communication style for any given situation
- Demonstrated accounting/financial understanding including experience managing budgets, which is desirable but not essential
- Competent computer skills across the full Microsoft Suite and knowledge of SAP and Salesforce, preferable but not essential
