Job Title: Content Strategy Manager
About the Opportunity
This role oversees the development and delivery of high-quality content that enhances the university's brand, supports student recruitment, and contributes to broader reputation goals.
The Creative Services Manager leads a multidisciplinary team of graphic designers, copywriters, and video producers, ensuring creative outputs are compelling and audience-focused, and delivered on time, on brand, and aligned with strategic objectives and stakeholder expectations.
This position is responsible for shaping and improving content and creative service delivery models and processes, collaborating with senior leaders to align strategy, prioritize work, and manage resources.
Key Responsibilities
* Content Development: Develop high-quality content that meets the needs of diverse audiences, including prospective and current students, staff, alumni, donors, and corporate partners.
* Team Leadership: Lead a creative team of designers, writers, and video producers, managing workload and output while fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
* Brand Consistency: Champion the university's brand locally and globally, ensuring visual and messaging consistency across all marketing channels and platforms.
* Strategic Planning: Collaborate with heads of key areas, including Marketing, Future Students, and Marketing Technology, to understand priorities and identify opportunities for content that enhances engagement across the marketing and sales funnel.
Required Skills and Qualifications
This role requires a postgraduate qualification in a relevant discipline or extensive experience in marketing or creative agency services, preferably within a higher education context.
Candidates must possess excellent communication and influence skills, as well as the ability to navigate competing priorities, stakeholder needs, and complex projects.
A strong understanding of marketing principles, strategies, and tactics is essential, as well as experience with project management tools and workflows.
