Gorseland Primary School is seeking to recruit a Grade 2
Teaching Assistant
(EYFS) for our Early Years classes who has a particular interest in child development and learning through play. Individuals must have motivation, drive and a passion for ensuring all children achieve their potential.
The role will also include working with pupils, either one-to-one or in small groups, some of whom may have SEND.
Qualifications In Paediatric First Aid Are Also Desirable.
You will need to have:
GCSE Grades A-C in English and maths, or equivalent
recent, relevant experience in working with children
a childcare qualification would be desirable
the ability to work effectively in a team and with a range of stakeholders
patience, kindness, with high expectations for children and staff.
Hours: 32.5 hours per week, 38 weeks per year. Contract: Fixed term to 31 August 2026. Required as soon as possible. Salary: £24,027 - £24,404 pro rata.
Part time or full time applications considered.
