Financial Reporting Specialist Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting Specialist to deliver timely and accurate financial reports, including month-end journals, variance analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, and business partnering.
This role plays a key part in enhancing reporting processes, building capability within the finance team, and contributing to informed decision-making through stakeholder engagement and financial performance discussions.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver timely and accurate financial reports, including month-end journals, variance analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, and business partnering.
* Contribute to informed decision-making through stakeholder engagement and financial performance discussions.
* Enhance reporting processes and build capability within the finance team.
* Review P&L and variance reports with operational stakeholders and contribute to financial performance discussions.
* Provide advanced analytical and organisational skills, with strong attention to detail.
* Produce high-quality financial information and present it clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
* Work independently, demonstrate initiative, and respond to dynamic business needs.
* Apply accounting standards effectively in day-to-day responsibilities.
We require applicants with relevant experience in financial and/or management accounting, ideally within a complex or regulated industry such as aged care or healthcare.
Essential qualifications include excellent analytical and organisational skills, with strong attention to detail. Additionally, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and reporting tools, is required.
